At Backstory, we provide a collaborative and inclusive environment where you’ll gain hands-on experience creating content for an inclusive brand strategy consultancy with a strong focus on building intentional brands. You’ll have the opportunity to earn college credit while developing your skills in DEIBA-driven marketing strategies that make an impact in today’s industry.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Collaborate with our team to create fresh, relevant content across social media, blogs, and other platforms.

  • Help manage and grow our social media presence by experimenting with content that connects with our diverse audiences.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and current events to ensure Backstory’s content is timely, inclusive, and impactful.

  • Participate in internal strategy and creative sessions, contributing ideas and learning from a consultancy that partners with some of the world’s most influential brands.

Position Specifics

  • Duration: 3 months

  • Time Commitment: ~40 hours/month (flexible schedule, deadlines provided in advance)

    • We have the flexibility to align the internship to your academic calendar.

  • Location: Remote (occasional virtual meetings; optional in-person meetups if local)

  • Compensation: Please note: This is an unpaid internship for credit. We are committed to ensuring the role meets your academic requirements.

  • Supervision: You will be assigned a supervisor to support you throughout the experience
